Learning how to use Marvelous Designer last term was extremely useful. Now, when I got to making clothes, it was quite a straightforward process.
The top was pretty straightforward, I just tried to get it as accurate as I could to the one in the concept.
The jacket was a bit more complicated. Making it wasn't that difficult. I found a pattern example online, followed it and sewed it on the model. What was difficult though was getting the knot around the waist.
The way I did took a lot of trial and error. Firstly I moved the jacket to the waist level. Then my first attempt at making the knot was with pins, which ended up not working, the material glitching everywhere. My second attempt was freezing the last bits of material on the sleeves, and moving those a bit, simulating it, and, then doing that again and again.
Happily, I was able to get them into position. The knot is a bit too low, but I will be making adjustments in Zbrush later
