Even though my Ork will be semi-stylised, I decided to make the clothes in Marvelous, because it would speed up the process significantly. If I want to, I can always sharpen the folds or modify them in Zbrush at NY time.
The pants were quite easy to make. I made the pattern wider on the bottom end to get that volume present in the concept and made two tight peaces at the end, to simulate them being tucked in the bandages.
I have also decided to make the braces in Marvelous, because simulating them would speed up the process by a lot, and it would also retain the grain of the pattern. I froze the ends and moved them into place to get the simulation to work nicely.
